Tori is a recurring presenter at the UPMC Pinnacle Health New Moms Network regarding the importance of the core and pelvic floor and safe postpartum exercise.
About the Founder
As a certified pre/postnatal fitness educator, Tori Levine developed the Babies at the Barre™ method to help new moms get fit, regain core and pelvic floor strength, all while keeping baby close and meeting other new moms. Weak muscles from pregnancy, childbirth, and caring for baby, which lead to pain and poor posture, are the focus of the Babies at the Barre™ method. Moms get a great workout without having to pay for a sitter and leave with their new mommy BFF! Clients rave “…class is a great way for moms to exercise while bonding with their baby….”

Tori grew up dancing in a pre-professional company and attended the prestigious SUNY Purchase College for dance. As part of her dance training, Tori was introduced to Pilates. After her second hip surgery, Tori took a break from dance and later earned her BA in Psychology and MS in Criminal Justice.
After the birth of her son in June 2014, Tori wanted to be able to work doing something she loved part-time while staying home with her son. She completed certification in barre method and has completed the coursework segment to become a pilates instructor. She began teaching “mommy and me” style barre classes since her son was young and went pretty much everywhere with her. Not long after, Babies at the Barre™ was born!
Tori enjoys working 1:1 and with groups of new moms. She focuses on teaching individuals that small, well executed, movements are beneficial and educating women about the necessity of strengthening their transverse abdominals and pelvic floor after pregnancy and birth. She enjoys meeting other new parents and creating great workouts parents can complete while wearing and connecting with baby...all while not having to pay for a babysitter!
Tori lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, son, and dog. When she’s not teaching, Tori can be found playing with trains and construction site toys with her son and enjoys taking him to local playgroups and activities. She is a reoccurring presenter at the Pinnacle Health New Moms Network and recently presented at the 2016 International Babywearing Conference and MommyCon DC 2016.
