How to Strengthen Your Core and Pelvic Floor when Pregnancy Exhaustion and Fatigue Have Taken Over

Wondering How to Strengthen Your Core and Pelvic Floor when Pregnancy Exhaustion and Fatigue Have Taken Over? You’ll learn some simple exercises that strengthen your core, pelvic floor, and hips in this video that are perfect for pregnancy and the postnatal period.

Between morning sickness, nausea, and pregnancy exhaustion and fatigue in the first trimester, there have been days where I can do nothing but crash on the couch. I began doing some simple exercises for my core, pelvic floor, and hips while snuggling my little guy and watching nature shows. In this video I’ll teach you these exercises where nothing but laying on your side and breathing is required. PS-These are exercises I have all my clients do (pregnant, postpartum, female, and male)!

During pregnancy a strong core may help you maintain better alignment and avoid some of the lower back pain and strain caused by your growing baby and belly. Check out this video on diaphragmatic breathing (https://youtu.be/NfFxx750hNA) which you can add into this exercise to target and further engage your transverse abdominals.

These exercises also strengthen your hips and the muscles that help stabilize your sacroiliac joint (SI joint) which relaxin loosens to prepare for birth and may cause pain during pregnancy.

FYI - This video was recorded when I was 9 weeks pregnant so you'll get an insiders view on how things are going during my first trimester.
